You are In Charge of You!

Hi! I’m Missy!  I’m a mom, a wife and a business owner.  I work hard.  Things sometimes go well and other times they blow up in my face!   I’ve been doing all of these jobs over 20 years and what I’ve come to know for sure is YOU ARE IN CHARGE OF YOU!   Yes, I said it!   So, don’t play the blame game or I would do this if it wasn’t for (my mom).    No excuses here!  What do you want to accomplish?   Set some goals!  Find out!  Let’s go!   What is it that you want to do?

Here is the truth!  You control your responses to what happens to you.  Of course, I don’t mean you control what happens, but you do control a great deal of the outcome.  You can’t help it if a car drives into your car, but you can decide to be a defensive driver.   You might not be able to control if you lose your job tomorrow, but you can control what makes you a great candidate for a new job and your ability to always be hireable.  I’m not saying you can decide to become the President of a company tomorrow, but if that is your dream and you are willing to work for it, you most likely can achieve your dream.

I am going to highlight some stories of success in my blog and let you follow along with some of my personal goals and dreams.  If you have a dream, please follow along, you may find some useful resources to use along the way.  Also, please feel free to send in topics you might want to hear about.

Until next time!

  1. Its like you read my mind! You appear to know so much about this, like you wrote the book in it or something. I think that you can do with some pics to drive the message home a little bit, but instead of that, this is wonderful blog. A great read. I will certainly be back. Wilhelmina Wallas Wadsworth
