Did you say you want to get rich?

If I had a quarter for every time I heard someone say if I only had more money….. Well, here is the fact.  You don’t.   I’ve really wanted to say that to some people.   But, I haven’t.

Here is another fact.  If you really want to have more money, you can.   WHAT?  Yes, you can!   Warning:  There is no get rich quick scheme here!   If you want to have more money or even become rich.  The first thing you have to do is make a plan.   

First of all, take a look at what you are doing right now.   Do you have a job?  Do you love your job?  Is this what you want to do with the rest of your life?   Does this job pay well?    Are you living within your means?    Sit down and map it out!  If you make $600 a paycheck, what part of that paycheck is spent on things you really don’t need?  Could you start a savings account and work your way up to a certain amount?   I know you can because you control the outcome!

Will it be easy?   It will not!   If your friends all like to go out and spend money, you may need to limit your time with them.  Have your excuses ready.   Look, I’m not saying to never go out and spend time with your friends.  I’m saying look ahead to where you want to be in 3 month, in 6 months, in 9 months, and then at the end of an entire year.   If you stay in control of your plan, you will have more money.    

Next year, take what you have learned and do it all over again.   I don’t want this to be an obsession, but there is such a sense of accomplishment when you make a plan, you stay true to it and it is working!    I hope each of you get to have that feeling about something you dreamed, you made a plan, and you had the opportunity to see the plan work!   It is amazing!
